Description: The Children’s Clinic, “Serving Children and Their Families”, dba TCC Family Health recently established TCC Family Health and Wellness, a new state-of-the-art 18,000 sq. ft. health and wellness center located in the heart of Cambodia Town, Long Beach, California at the corner of Anaheim and Walnut. This site, formerly an empty lot, not only provides access to health and wellness care, but also addresses the pressing need for affordable housing in this vulnerable community, through a partnership with BRIDGE Housing who built 88 units of affordable housing for families and supportive housing for seniors above the health center.
More than a health care facility, TCC Family Health and Wellness is a cornerstone of healing & wellbeing in the community. TCC Family Health and Wellness features 15 exam rooms and provides comprehensive quality health care services to children, adolescents, women, adults and seniors. Also included are mental & behavioral health, dental care, optometry and acupuncture services and rooms. Utilizing the 4,000 sq. ft. open courtyard, a teaching kitchen, children’s area and flexible meeting spaces, this site will also provide wellness classes and activities, patient education, chronic disease management, physical and mental healing & wellbeing activities. 28,800 medical visits and 9,600 social service and educational visits will be provided on site to 9,000 patients per year.

Founded in 1939 by local physicians and community leaders, TCC Family Health, a federally qualified health center, has been addressing the health needs of our community by providing comprehensive, high quality health care, behavioral health care and wellness services for underserved children and families in the greater Long Beach community. Annually, TCC serves approximately 20,000 children and 20,000 adults through 175,000 medical, behavioral health, dental and wellness patient visits both in-person and telehealth at our 13 sites, including our school-based health centers and mobile medical clinic, dedicated to serving those experiencing homelessness.
